IMAGE IS EVERYTHING!

You would never go to an initial client meeting in faded shorts, a shirt with holes and ragged flip-flops.  Why?  It does not set a level of confidence before the first word is even spoken. People make assumptions through visual cues before all of the facts are presented.  You could be the best at what you do, but if you do not make an effort to look the part, you could lose out on potential business.

The same is true of photography.  Professional shots of your events present much nicer than ones taken from your phone or pocket camera.  Even if you do have a nicer camera, your photos will likely not capture a special moment or reinforce the beauty of floral design or a flawlessly set table with perfectly aligned glasses as well as those of a professional photographer who understands angles, lighting, lenses and camera settings.  The selection of photographer is one of the most important decisions a client will make.  Those special memories, those weeks and weeks of planning hours are captured forever in what?  Photographs.

Our July meeting takes us to the Sheraton Imperial RTP, where we will learn from our talented NACE photographers all of the answers to the questions that our clients ask, including but not limited to: “Why do photographers charge what they do?” “Why is there a big difference in prices from one photographer to another?” “What qualifications do you need to be a professional photographer?”  We will find out why it is important to have a skilled and trusted photographer capture those once in a lifetime moments for our clients and for the marketing efforts of our own businesses.

But wait...there's more! This month, we will feature a super-fantastic door prize! Can you imagine paying $5 for a professional photographer, DJ, and custom-designed cake for your next big event? Neil Boyd has informed us that your purchase of a $5 ticket enters you to win the following all-inclusive package ($2000 value!) for your event:

*Photography by a photographer from Neil Boyd Photography

*Gift voucher for a cake from Sweet Memories Bakery

*DJ from Bunn DJ company

*There will be one winner.  50% of the proceeds will go to the Interfaith Food Shuttle.

*Due to the great value of this prize, all tickets will be $5, so bring enough cash for several chances!

*Please bring check or cash in order to ensure as much of the proceeds as possible go to the charity (i.e. no credit card fees)

*Prize may only be used by the winning ticket holder.

The Sheraton Imperial RTP, Connie Duglin, and Joe Bunn DJ Company are our gracious sponsors for July.  Please plan to park in the lot closest to the conference center and enter through the access door to the right of the main entrance.
